Emma Harwood, RD, CDN, CNSC

Emma Harwood, RD, CDN, CNSC, is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Nutrition Support Clinician at CNY Family Care, where she provides Medical Nutrition Therapy. She is credentialed through the Commission on Dietetic Registration and the National Board of Nutrition Support Certification. Emma obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech and completed her Dietetic Internship with a Certificate of Advanced Study from Syracuse University.

Emma has experience in acute care nutrition and outpatient nutrition counseling. Her professional interests include food allergies, enteral/parenteral nutrition support, weight management, and preventive nutrition. She has been honored with the Ann Selkowitz Litt Memorial Scholarship, offered by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation (2021).

Kathryn Szklany, MA, RD, CDN, CDCES

Kathryn Szklany, MA, RD, CDN, CDCES, is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist at CNY Family Care. She has over a decade of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling and diabetes education, with a focus on helping patients manage chronic conditions and achieve long-term wellness.

Kathryn earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and her master’s in nutrition science from Syracuse University. She is credentialed through the Commission on Dietetic Registration and the National Board for Diabetes Education.

Her professional interests include diabetes self-management, weight management, and preventive nutrition. She has been honored with the New York State Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year Award (2013) and the Isabelle A. Hallahan Award (2022).
